With the Worlds 2023 Swiss stage kicking off on October 19, there are two ADCs to watch out for in the upcoming matches.
These 2 ADCs are the most picked champions so far at Worlds 2023
Compared to other roles, ADCs usually have a much more restricted champion pool. Typically, there are a couple of tier S picks that are either picked or banned, followed by a few strong counters, and then some situational picks.
The bottom lane meta at Worlds this year seems to be in a similar situation. While there have been 10 different ADC picks so far, according to gol.gg, two of them are head and shoulders over everyone else.
Kai’Sa and Xayah have been the undisputed tier 0 ADCs at Worlds so far. The former has been picked already 24 times while Xayah is at 19 times. Among the two, however, Xayah seems to be the most preferred pick, as she has been picked or banned in every game so far.

Why are they strong?
The reason why Xayah is so strong is given by her ability to have a self-defensive tool thanks to her ultimate. She can dodge incoming engage attempts from the enemy and she shines in front-to-back and kiting teamfights.
Kai’Sa, on the other hand, has a great new lethality build that allows her to spike much harder in the mid-game and one-shot most targets with a quick rotation of her combos and auto attacks. And just like Xayah, she has a repositioning ability with her ultimate, which can be used both offensively and defensively.
With Kai’Sa being the most picked champion so far, she might be a potential candidate for the pick ’em as the most picked champion. If you have chosen her, you might have nailed it. To find out whether that is the case, tune in for the action when the Swiss stage begins.
