Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is on the precipice of success, preparing to leap headlong onto the devices of tens of millions of eagerly awaiting fans. It was recently revealed in a Call of Duty blog that COD Warzone Mobile already has more than 45 million pre-registrations through the app stores it’s preparing to launch on. It was also reiterated that the game will be released in Spring 2024, which means there are only a few months left to wait until it’s readily available.

COD Warzone Mobile was first revealed back in 2022, and since then, plenty of information about the game has been revealed. For instance, it was made clear that it’s going to be a grand return to Verdansk, often considered one of the most popular Call of Duty maps ever made. It hasn’t been seen in the COD ecosystem since December 2021, when it was axed in favour of Caldera, a newer map that many think was the start of Warzone’s downfall.

Get Ready to Go Back

In COD Warzone Mobile, players will get the opportunity to land once again in Verdansk and Rebirth Island, two of the most popular maps in battle royale history. It’s an exciting prospect, and the earlier gameplay clips we’ve seen of COD Warzone Mobile look positive. It’s easily one of the most highly anticipated mobile games to emerge in recent years, and in the Call of Duty blog post that was recently published, it was revealed that 45 million players are pre-registered and waiting to go.

It’s the next generation of Call of Duty, with three top-tier experiences launching back to back. On November 10th, we’ll get the global release of Modern Warfare III, which will perfectly cap off the Modern Warfare reboot that has been running since 2019. It’s a return in itself, as players are preparing to go head-to-head with Vladimir Makarov, one of the most iconic characters in Call of Duty.

Then, around the same time, we’ll get access to the next Warzone experience, which’ll take place in Urzikstan. This map was teased a long while ago but it’s finally making its way into the game. This time around, it’ll boast the fast-paced movement and new mechanics of Modern Warfare III, and it’s expected to bring millions of players back into the fold.

How to Get Access to COD Warzone Mobile

If you’re eager to stake your claim and wait in the COD Warzone Mobile queue, it couldn’t be easier. On the iOS Store and the Google Play Store, you’ll need to just navigate to Call of Duty Warzone Mobile and click ‘Pre-Register’. Provided you’re signed in with an active account, that’s all you’ll need to do — you’ll be marked as pre-registered and you’ll be notified when COD Warzone Mobile goes live in Spring 2024.

It’s expected to be a huge title that pushes the boundaries of mobile gaming — potentially even more so than COD Mobile did. It’s a huge ask, but for the nostalgia value alone, COD Warzone Mobile is bursting with potential.
