Mortal Kombat 1 has tons of different game modes that players can jump into. However, since the MK 1 release date it’s been missing one area. We’ve known since the launch of a new mode that was missing from Invasions, Titan Battles. While referenced in the game trophies list for Mortal Kombat 1, they haven’t shown up in the game proper, at least not for a while. However, NetherRealm Studios has just fixed that. They’ve finally added a new area into the game so players can complete that trophy list and discover a new side of Invasions.
MK 1 Titan Battles Finally Enabled
Mortal Kombat 1 has finally gotten a game mode that’s been referenced since the title first launched. These are a new type of Invasion or challenge in the game. It’s particularly a game mode that seems to be built for players looking to push themselves. Titan Battles are a new type of invasion with a bit more of a challenge.
These Titan Battles are a new form of Invasion. It begins in a fresh arena, themed after a Pyramid. It’s a trickier challenge than some of the other Invasions that we’ve seen. However, for dedicated players, there’s plenty to get your teeth stuck into.
The first major Titan in this mode is up against Baraka and Cyrax. Finishing off this Battle will even net you an exclusive skin, provided you can get it done before the battle expires. The next Titan Battle seems to be General Shao, which might have some new rewards too.
The additions of MK 1 Titan Battles give us a bit more to do in the game’s solo content. However, for competitive players things are really heating up. We’ve just gotten started in the inaugural edition of the Mortal Kombat Pro Kompetition. Things will be heating up here over the next few months, so keep an eye on the qualifying events.
