Fortnite Jonsey is far and away the most iconic character the game has generated. The title has quite a few different skins, but no one is more recognisable than Jonsey, arguably the central character of Fortnite. Since this character is heavily associated with the game, a lot of players are wondering will Jonsey return in Fortnite OG?

Jonsey, like most characters, first debuted in Chapter 1 of the game. At that point, he was just a default. One of quite a few characters you could play as if you didn’t use a skin in the game. However, he became a much bigger deal than that. Fortnite Jonsey started getting extra skins and variations and even became a key part of Fortnite lore. Some fans are demanding his return for the latest season.

Will Fortnite Jonsey be Back?

Josney has been a character since Fortnite’s early days. In Chapter 2, he got a major role as Agent Jonsey. We saw multiple versions of the character occupying a single POI even. However, he hasn’t been a major player in lore in Chapter 3. This has left fans wondering if he’ll be back for the revival OG season.

In terms of his presence on the map, we can probably say he won’t be back. The character won’t show up as one of the Fortnite NPCs on the game. Chapter 1 didn’t really use NPCs on the map, not in the same way as the modern game. We won’t see him wondering around any time soon.

In the store, we’ll probably get a new version of Jonsey at some point in the season. These variations on the characters are always popular and a Chapter 1 throwback look seems pretty likely to arrive at some point.

Chapter 4’s OG Fortnite season is likely to end in an in-game event too. We might well see agent Jonsey or another variant show up at some point over the event. We won’t know the details until we reach it though. Jonsey could end up playing a key role in taking us back to the Black Hole and to a new Chapter of Fortnite.
