This week, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has finally released after a few months of build-up. We’ve already seen some early tournaments get announced for the game, most notably the Slimebox. However, it seems there’s even more Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Tournaments coming soon. The game is working on quite a few post-launch improvements that will help make these tournaments a success.
While the first title faded out from esports, there’s a few reasons to think things might go better for NASB 2. Most of the bigger problems have been fixed. There have been new mechanics added too, like Slime, and a bigger roster. There’s already a few more tournaments getting announced for the recently released game.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Tournaments
In the launch period, we’re going to see a few different tournaments getting held for the NASB 2. The Slimebox is an early one, but since then we’ve had more tournaments getting announced.
One of these is Luminosity Makes Big Moves. This is an upcoming fighting game esports tournament happening on January 5-7. Its already boasting quite a few major games, like Smash Bros. We’ll get new Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Tournaments at this event too though. It’ll feature a $5,000 prize pool for the game.
The next major tournament already announced for the game is Genesis X. This is another major which focuses on Smash Bros, scheduled for February 16-18 2024. It’s also getting a $5,000 prize pool. Genesis has long been a highlight for fighters like Smash, hopefully it can birth an active scene for NASB too.
These two Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Tournaments are showing the game is already making it onto the roster for the biggest fighting game events. While the first NASB game had some teething issues this second game fixes a lot of the problems. Hopefully this second game’s meta is in an interesting place by the time we get to next year and these future tournaments.
