Firstly, let’s establish one key point – what is a Mercenary Convoy in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies? Well, it’s a small convoy of vehicles (three, to be precise) that traverses the open world of Urzikstan, ferrying around approximately a dozen highly-trained Terminus soldiers. It’s a lucrative target, boasting weapons caches and armoured vehicles that are perfect for getting around the map in relative safety.
And it’s also what you’ll need to destroy and loot to progress with the Zombies story. But how do you find one?

How to Find and Destroy a Mercenary Convoy
In MW3, the ‘Interceptor’ mission is what you’ll be ticking off when you manage to find and destroy a Mercenary Convoy, but exactly how tough a task is that? Well, it all begins with actually finding one.
It mostly comes down to luck and perseverance. If you’re loading into a game of COD Zombies to find a Mercenary Convoy, you’ll need to jump into a vehicle of your own and bear down, driving around some of the key highways located in Urzikstan. Typically, you’ll find the Mercenary Convoy cruising around the main circular highway that roughly skirts around the Level II zone (amber) in the centre of the map.
In MW3, the Mercenary Convoy can be identified merely by what it is – it’ll be three armoured cars in a row, brimming with soldiers. To complete the Interceptor mission, simply light up the convoy, blast it to pieces (but you don’t need to destroy the cars themselves), and then secure the Stronghold Keycard that should appear in the middle of the convoy, typically tucked away inside one of the caches in the cars themselves.
