Street Fighter 6 has had a decent amount to play through since release, with tons of characters to master. While we’ve had some cosmetics and crossovers in the SF 6 patch notes and updates, but actual costumes for characters have been limited. Players are getting a little bored of playing with the same old costumes, thankfully the Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 update is coming soon.

A new update is coming to the game pretty soon, which will add a third costume to the game for most of the characters. So far, most of the characters have had their standard look as SF 6 outfit 1, then an alt or classic style as Outfit 2. That was about it. Now around 6 months after the initial release, we’re finally getting a clear look at Street Fighter 6 outfit 3. Since we first learned about the update at EVO, players have been anxiously waiting to see what new style their main will sport soon. What’s coming with the Outfit 3 update?

Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 Update

Developers have shared a new update on the progress of the third outfit to the game. They’ve posted on Twitter reaffirming that Outfit 3 is a thing! They’ve also specified that development has been completed for the new outfits, meaning we’ll expect to start seeing them in-game very soon. These will be DLC outfits, likely dropping soon like the next characters after the Aki DLC.

Along with sharing an update on the progress of development, they’ve revealed some ideas of what we’re getting. The Street Fighter 6 outfit 3 addition has shown off Jamie in Chinese-style clothes. It seems like the first batch of Outfit 3 updates will come for the base roster. However, the DLC characters should also receive extra looks soon.

With development completed, we can expect to learn more about the new outfits soon, including a firmer release date. It’ll also be interesting to see how they’re priced since these will be a DLC addition to the game.
