Who’s coming, who’s going and who’s on the bench? There’s a lot going on at G2 Esports’ Counter-Strike team at the moment. At the center of numerous rumors was Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, who was apparently supposed to move to Saudi Arabia

Should I stay or should I go?

Some G2 fans may have asked themselves this question in the last few days with regard to the current G2 Esports roster. Rumors that the Bosnian NiKo  would move to the Falcons in the Middle East emerged as early as the beginning of November. But already on November 6, the Rifler negated all assumptions and announced his whereabouts at G2 with a single sentence on x.com “I stay“.

Some people claimed that NiKo was only staying to build his own team with “buddies”. The CS professional firmly opposed this and expressed his astonishment at the power that would be attributed to him with regard to putting together a team. In the context of this, further rumors were spread that revolved around the return nexas  These have since turned out to be true.

Nexa back, jks on the bench

As happy as some might be about the re-signing of Nemanja “nexa” Isaković, the situation at jks seems to be all the less happy. Justin “jks” Savage has been part of the team since August 2022, but will now have to make do with the bench until further notice. The Australian has not yet commented on his own demotion. The last post on X.com dates back to October 22, when G2 Esports finished third and fourth respectively in the Gamers8 competition in Saudi Arabia
