“Cult of the Lamb” will soon receive an extensive free content update entitled “Sins of the Flesh”, as the developer Massive Monster  has confirmed. Following the successful release of the previous major update “Relics of the Old Faith “, which improved the combat mechanics this year, fans can look forward to further game content. The previous update added relics that enabled more powerful attacks, as well as additional buildings for cultists to expand the base. A crossover with the survival game “Don’t Starve” brought mainly cosmetic content.

The Cult of the Lamb “Sins of the Flesh” update, originally planned for mid-2023 and then postponed to the end of the year, will now be released at the beginning of 2024 . The update will focus on the sect aspect of the game, but does not yet promise any specific details. Despite this extensive update, the developers are planning further major and minor updates for “Cult of the Lamb”, according to a Steam announcement. Players can therefore look forward to ongoing support and constant improvements to enhance the gaming experience. As one of the most popular and highest rated rogue-lites in recent years, Cult of the Lamb looks set to continue its successful run. Further updates should therefore keep the growing player base happy. We will probably find out what these updates will be next year at the earliest, after Sind of the Flesh has been released
