Fortnite has tons of different skins, thousands. However, a few are much more well-known becoming the rarest Fortnite skins. These are skins we rarely see come back, and players have few chances to actually buy. One of the most exclusive in this list, the Black Widow Fortnite skin, has just made a comeback.

Fortnite does tons of Marvel collaborations and they usually come back really frequently. However, one of them didn’t. The first Black Widow skin added just didn’t come back. More skins of the same character were added, but for some reason, Epic just didn’t bring this one back. Until today. They’ve just returned one of the rarest outfits to the Item Shop.

Black Widow Fortnite Skin Returns

Checking the Fortnite item shop today, players will be surprised to see the return of a very rare skin. The Black Widow Fortnite skin has come back. This skin was originally released in Season 8. It’s been in the item shop for seven total days. It was originally in the shop from April 25th to May 6th 2019. Then, that was it until today.

The skin has made a surprise comeback out of nowhere. Getting added to the item store on November 29th. A lot of fans immediately jumped on this skin, buying it to try and secure one of Fortnite’s previously rarest skins.

Why did the black Widow Fortnite skin become so rare in the first place? We don’t really know. There are some skins from Chapter 1 that rarely come back just because they’re older, less flashy than modern skins, and they were only really available to early players. However, for this skin, it’s a bit different. It’s a collab which is frequently featured in Fortnite, but Epic just didn’t bring it back. This led to a lot of speculation.

Players had for a while assumed there must be some sort of rights issues around the skin. Since we’d received a newer Black Widow skin which came back plentily, fans assumed there was some sort of problem holding it up. However, with it back in the item shop it seems whatever problem was there has been resolved! We don’t know if this will be back very often after this, so players have jumped on it quickly if they want the skin.
