With the new season fast approaching, Riot Games revealed the first set of skins to kick off the new year: Dragonmancer.
Dragonmancer Skins coming to LoL to kick off 2024 season
2024 will be the year of the dragon so there is no better way to start the new year than by releasing a dragon-themed skin line, and Riot just did that. Even though it’s not a new skin line, the devs will bring back the Dragonmancer skins with new champions.
Which champions will be getting the new skins?
Considering there are quite a few Dragonmancer champions out there, we will only be getting four champions in this release:
Dragonmancer Rakan
Dragonmancer Fiora
Dragonmancer Kassadin
Dragonmancer Vayne
There will also be the first Prestige skin of the new 2024 season, which will go to Rakan. This will be the second time Rakan gets a skin without its pairing Xayah after Riot mentioned its intention to push individual aspects going forward.
When Will The New LoL Dragonmancer Skins Release?
The Dragonmancer skin line will drop when the first patch of the new season goes live in 2024. With that in mind, the expected release date will be on January 9, 2024. They will come with one of the greatest overhauls to the game in the past few years, with a revamped item system, a new map transformation with the Void drake, and the newest champion, Hwei. Given the massive amount of changes, it’s bound to be an explosive start to the new year.
New Dragonmancer Skins – Cost
Considering all skins are going to be categorized as Epic, each will cost 1350 RP. The Prestige skin for Rakan will cost 100 Mythic Essence and it should be available in the Mythic shop once the skins are live. No legendary skins (1820 RP) will be released this time around.
