Games at Northeast Championship 2023

Northeast Chapionship 2023 is a huge fighting game event in terms of games covered. Its got tournaments running for the mainstream fighters, but also a few of the bigger anime fighting games and more classic games. This is the full spread of tournaments to expect at the event.

Street Fighter 6

The biggest draw at most fighting game events in 2023 has been Street Fighter 6, the biggest release of the year. The event here has a $1,440 prize pool. There are some major SF 6 players coming too, like Punk, iDom and Justin Wong.

Tekken 7

The Tekken 7 event at Northeast Championship 2023 isn’t quite as big but it’s still an important part of the event. It’s going to have a $400 prize pool here and players like Blood Hawk attending.

King of Fighters XV

The KoF event might be one of the biggest here, as an SNK World Championship event. It’s a regional qualifier which can help a player get through to the finals.

Guilty Gear Strive

Guilty Gear Strive is one of the biggest anime games at the event. There are players like iDom, Yurikov, and others showing up to compete in the bracket.

Mortal Kombat 1

One of the other major tournaments is for another major 2023 release, Mortal Kombat 1. It has a $680 prize pool and some decent players showing up here.
