LoL Enchanter Items – 2024 season

The enchanters are a smaller category compared to other champion classes so the number of changes isn’t that many for this off-season. Nonetheless, there are also other support item changes that will warp how champions behave in the role. Below is the list of item adjustments alongside some considerations for each item.

Removed: Chemtech Putrifier, Chalice of Harmony.

Chemtech Putrifier has always been a contested item for its use. Ever since its rework, I felt like the item was mostly useless, so happy to see it gone.

New Enchanter items for 2024

[NEW] – Glowing Mote

Cost: 250 gold
5 Ability Haste

Small item components usually get overlooked but this is quite an interesting one. It will benefit some champions in the early laning phase as some prefer Ability Haste over mana regeneration. For support champions that have less gold economy, this is a small but good addition.

[NEW] – Dawncore

Total Cost: 2700 gold
Item Recipe: Bandleglass Mirror + Bandleglass Mirror + 700 gold
40 Ability Power
20 Ability Haste
150% Mana Regeneration
Passive – Dawncore: Gain 3% Heal and Shield Power and 5 Ability Power per 100% Base Mana Regeneration.
Passive – Summoner Spell Haste: Gain 18 Summoner Spell Haste.

This is such a great item for all enchanters. By stacking lots of mana regeneration and ability haste, the champions will be able to fully utilize the passive effects. Once we get to the late stages of the game, this game can become quite obnoxious to play against.

Reworked Enchanter items

Echoes of Helia

Total Cost: 2200 gold
Item Recipe: Kindlegem + Bandleglass Mirror + 400 gold
200 Health
40 Ability Power
20 Ability Haste
125% Mana Regeneration
Passive – Soul Siphon: Damaging a champion grants a Soul Shard, up to a maximum of 3. Healing or Shielding an ally consumes all Soul Shards and restores 20 Health and deals 55 magic damage per Shard to the nearest enemy champion.
Passive – Dissonance removed

The item gives more base stats but it loses out on the Mythic passive and it has lower numbers of the Soul Siphon passive. It might need some buffs going forward, as I think the numbers are slightly too low.

Staff of Flowing Water

Total Cost: 2300 gold
Item Recipe: Fiendish Codex + Forbidden Idol + 600 gold
40 Ability Power
15 Ability Haste
125% Mana Regeneration
8% Heal and Shield Power
Passive – Rapids: Healing or Shielding allied champions (excluding the user) grants the user 40 Ability Power and 10% bonus Movement Speed over 3 seconds.

The new Staff of the Flowing Water loses out on the ability haste passive (which is now on the new item Dawncore) and I think it’s a great change. Enchanters will now have to decide whether they prefer maxing out damage output with this item or prioritize the additional shield power and ability haste, giving two distinctive directions based on the game state.
