The extensive update not only includes the new game mode and a new outfit, but also numerous bug fixes and changes

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was not completely convincing in all tests at release. We criticized among other things the choppy parkour, as well as various technical problems. With a new update, Ubisoft now promises improvements on both fronts. You can read about all the changes here.

What’s in the update?

The complete, very long patch notes can be found on page two of this article. However, we would like to briefly summarize the most important changes for you:

New Game+: If you have played through the story of Mirage on any difficulty level, you can now start from the beginning in this mode, but keep your unlocked skills and collected equipment. You can also skip the prologue and start directly in Baghdad.

New Outfit: When you start the New Game+, you will receive Bayek’s Medjay outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins as a gift.

Graphics improvements: Ubisoft is not very specific here, but there will be several improvements to the graphics, environments and visual effects.

Bugfixes and other improvements: Among the numerous small changes, some stand out. For example, guards now react when we tear down a wanted poster. If we run into a wall, it can no longer happen that a swimming animation is triggered. And Roshan no longer blocks the entrance to assassin offices.

Parkour improvements: If you jump to the side or back when climbing, you can now reach points further away and climb faster overall. In addition, bugs in the level design that previously made the parkour more difficult have been fixed and there are other bug fixes.

How much do I need to download?  On the official website, Ubisoft states the size of the patch on the various platforms:

Xbox Series X/S: ~4.76 GB

Xbox One: ~3.33 GB

PlayStation 5: ~2.03 GB

PlayStation 4: ~3.05 GB
