VALORANT Mobile Release Date

Currently, if leaks are to be believed, the game is in a closed beta stage. Riot Games, however, hasn’t announced an official global release date yet. VALORANT Mobile is expected to be released in 2024, though. There have also been reports about the game being delayed due to Tencent no longer developing it. These reports haven’t been confirmed, though.

Additionally, the open beta version of VALORANT Mobile could be out in early 2024. Another bit of information that was rumored is that the global version of the game will be available before the Chinese version. With China’s strict gaming laws requiring separate approvals, it might take some time to enter the market. This was also seen with the PC version of the game, which launched in July 2023 in China.

With VALORANT being tested right now in China, there are a lot of clips being leaked as well. We can see that the gameplay is quite similar to that of VALORANT PC. At the same time, the game also has quite a lot of skins that were launched in the past few years.

What can players expect?

VALORANT Mobile isn’t a simple port of the PC version of the game. Instead, Riot Games has decided to build it from the ground up and optimize it for Android and iOS devices. This is why the development of the game is also taking a lot of time.

The wait is a good sign, though. It means that Riot is making sure to release a polished and bug-free version for players to enjoy.

Furthermore, VALORANT Mobile will be distinct from the PC version. According to the leaks, it will also have shorter round and match timings. These are yet to be confirmed, though.
