In fighting game esports, patch notes can be pretty important for staying on top of your game. Players need to know how their character has changed, how mechanics are different, and what new content has been added. Individual patches can change match-ups and really affect how your character players. If you want to stay on top of all the changes, we’ve got the full Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising patch notes for update 1.1.
Latest Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Patch Notes
This is everything that’s been changed in the Granblue Fantasy patch notes. This is the 1.1 updates, our first substantial change for the game since release.
New Character
A new character is being added with our first update. This is the first of the DLC additions to the game, Lucillus. They’ll be in as a playable character for those who purchase him. However, there’s some associated content coming to the game too. There’s a premium avatar, music tracks, skins, badges, card designs and more added.
The new character is definitely the biggest attraction of the latest Granblue Fantasy Rising patch notes. Although, coming so soon after the game released it doesn’t have as much of an impact, since a lot of players are still getting to know the cast as a whole. You won’t see Lucillus in the free GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising character rotation though.
New Stage
A new stage has been added with this update. Feendrache is the latest stage players can chose.
Other Changes in GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising Patch Notes 1.1
Those are the big new additions but there’s plenty of smaller changes going on here too. We’ve seen a few alterations to how the game works:
Sound effect bug fixes
Battle Settings Update
Arcade Mode – More experience is gained from winning a match
Online – You can spectate mid-match
Grand Blue – Experience points increased
Bug Fixes
Character Changes
Most of the character changes in the 1.1 Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising patch notes are bug fixes. We’re not getting too many major alterations to moves at this early stage. There are a few smaller changes though, like Nier’s Misfortune now having an audio cue for becoming active. Outside of this, most of these changes are fixing bugs with moves rather than re-balancing.
