Bleed Esports and Disguised have announced a partnership to support a VALORANT team in the Malaysia/Singapore region. This team will feature some of the former Bleed Esports players. This marks Disguised’s official exit from NA VALORANT and entry into the SEA region.
This move is a ‘homecoming’ for Founder and CEO Disguised Toast, who was born in Taiwan but grew up in Malaysia and frequently visited Singapore as a child. With the support and guidance of Bleed, DSG aims to break into the VCT Pacific next year. Let’s take a look at what this means for the future.
What Does This Partnership Mean For The Future of Disguised?
The partnership signifies Bleed’s ambition and commitment to the VALORANT scene. The organization recognizes the importance of the Malaysia/Singapore region and has provided its full backing to Disguised as it enters its next evolution in the VALORANT Challengers.
In line with this commitment, Bleed and Disguised plans to host watch parties and events together, fostering a sense of community and providing fans with unique experiences. This collaborative effort aims to not only elevate the VALORANT scene but also create memorable moments for esports enthusiasts.
Opinions Of The Major Stakeholders in Bleed Esports and DSG
BLEED COO Ian Huston said this concerning the new partnership:
“As the Ascension team for VCT Pacific, it’s important to us to remember where we started. To keep supporting Challengers and Malaysia/Singapore through VALORANT, we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Disguised’s expansion into Asia. More details on our joint initiatives will be revealed soon, where our priority is the fans and growing our community.”
Disguised CEO Jeremy ‘Disguised Toast’ Wang had this to say about the partnership with Bleed Esports:
“One of my goals with DSG is to build it into a global brand, and I’ve always wanted to expand to the Asia region. I lived in Malaysia from age 1 to 13 and haven’t visited since, so I’m excited to make a return,” he said. “A huge thank you to BLEED for supporting us through this whole process and helping us build a roster. Fans can expect DSG to be visiting the SEA region this year.”
What Can Fans Expect From The New Partnership?
The partnership between Bleed and Disguised extends beyond regional support. Bleed envisions helping Disguised legitimately break into the Asian market while leveraging DSG’s presence to potentially facilitate Bleed’s entry into the North American esports scene at a later point. A content partnership is also in the works, where both organizations will collaborate to create engaging content and support each other in achieving their shared goals.
