The revamped LCS is off to a strong start. Newly implemented features such as live-patch matches, streamlined game downtime, and improved fan interactions mean that North America’s premier series is ready to deliver better games—and better plays—than ever before.

With the past two days of action-packed League still fresh in our minds, here are our top plays from Week 2 of the 2024 LCS season.

Blaber & Jojopyun’s Shockwave Delivery

Facing off against long-time LCS staple Dignitas, C9’s Blaber and Jojopyun prove why there’s no champion synergy quite like Nocturne and Orianna. As the two teams contest vision near the Baron pit, DIG make a fatal mistake in grouping much too close for comfort. Nocturne’s Paranoia is popped, The Ball is attached, and C9 score a four-man Shockwave.

As if this disastrous wombo combo was not enough, top laner Fudge lands a devastating Equalizer follow-up, cooking Dignitas and sealing the match.

huhi the Unkillable Support King

Though he was once known as one of the best Aurelion Sol players to ever grace the mid lane, the France-born huhi now holds a different renown as a support for NRG. In this clip from their match with FlyQuest.

Huhi is caught off guard as a three-man ambush is sprung on NRG’s Kalista-Rell botlane.

Brushing off the onslaught like a morning breeze, huhi counter-engages on a sliver of health, earning his team a double kill and firmly putting the “tank” in tank support.

Sniper’s Solo-Kill Debut

Though young Riven-extraordinaire Sniper made waves playing his iconic champ during opening week. It’s safe to say that the 100 Thieves rookie isn’t done with the spotlight yet. Facing off against NRG, Sniper once again shows his skill as he wrestles a solo-kill from veteran top laner Dhokla.

With an ambitious tower dive leaving his K’Sante at 80 health and one kill up, Sniper proves yet again that he can battle with the best of them, setting expectations high as his LCS debut reaches Week 3.

Here Comes Armao’s Lillia

With two teammates down against Shopify Rebellion, Immortals’ teamfight is looking rough in this clip. That is until Armao’s Lillia joins the fray, that is. Finishing off SR’s mid laner and landing a two-man sleep against their support and top, IMT’s jungler wreaks DoT havoc as he prances from one enemy to the next.

Blooming Blows land and “Eeps!” fly as Armao single-handedly secures his team the 3v5, reminding Shopify why exactly they should fear the deer.

Playing on the live patch sure has its benefits. We hope week three delivers in spades.
