The Group A Upper Bracket Final showdown between Team Spirit and FaZe has just come to its conclusion, with the former coming out on top with a flawless 2-0 series win over their opposition.

Map 1: Mirage (Pick – Team Spirit; Win – Team Spirit; Final Score – 13-11)
FaZe opened up the first game of the series with a pistol round win on the CT-side of Mirage. After converting the follow-up anti-eco round, FaZe managed to snatch the first buy-round of the game as well, thanks to a 1HP clutch from Helvijs “broky” Saukants. Team Spirit could grab their first round of the series after FaZe had already secured 5 rounds for themselves. However, it
didn’t take long for Spirit to close out the gap between the two teams as the half ended with a score of 6-6.
Team Spirit carried over their momentum to the second half of the game by taking the pistol round on the CT-side and converting the following round to get an 8-6 lead. FaZe was swift to retaliate, as they equalized the score with the next two rounds The two teams then proceeded to trade rounds back and forth, but Team Spirit managed to gain the upper hand in the nail-biter of a series to end the game 13-11 in their favor.
Map 2: Nuke (Pick – FaZe; Win – Team Spirit; Final Score – 13-5)
Spirit kicked off the CT-side of Nuke on the right foot with a pistol round win that resulted in an early 2-0 lead. FaZe tried to strike back by grabbing the next three rounds consecutively, but Spirit regained composure quickly enough to take the lead and close the half with a comfortable lead of 8-4.
Team Spirit looked comfortable heading into the T-side of the second map. After securing the crucial pistol round for themselves, Spirit left no room for mistakes as they managed to win the upper bracket finals of Group A without further hassle and with a score of 13-5.
