One of the most anticipated new fighters is 2XKO, previously known as Project L. This is Riot’s new fighting game. Coming from the makers of LoL and Valorant expectations are high. We’ve had some limited 2XKO playtests so far, largely at events for dedicated fans. However, Riot has just revealed a much wider test for the game. A full public 2XKO playtest is coming.

Soon, everyone will be able to test out one part of the game! Well, everyone who is chosen. The upcoming 2XKO playtest is open for anyone to sign up for. Only a set number of players are going to be included in this new test but it will include a much larger amount of people than previous tests. Riot has revealed how players can sign up and try out one of the most anticipated upcoming fighting games really soon. How will it all work?

2XKO Playtest Coming from Riot

A new playtest is coming for 2XKO. This is an early testing period though, not the early access trials we’ve seen with similar titles. This means the game is in a much rawer state. Players have already tried out quite a few of the 2XKO fighters at events, and it looks like this test will be a similar process. Some hands-on testing to see how mechanics are getting balanced. It’s more to aid in development than purely to build hype. Coming right after its name change though, we’re betting it’ll achieve both though.

The new fighter’s playtest is going to be open for anyone to sign up for. Through Riot’s official site, anyone can register their accounts to try and get access to the early testing! It won’t be the widest early access, so not everyone will get in. However, it definitely shows a lot more progress is being made in this game’s development!

Early playable Project L demos have already shown off some features and characters. We’ll get a closer look with this playtest. Hopefully, this is the first of a few different trials for the game. We might see a much wider early access before release in 2025.
