PROJECT skins are finally back in LoL. After introducing the skin line a few years ago, a few more champions are going to become members of the PROJECT universe.

LoL PROJECT skins – one of the largest skin lines in the game

The PROJECT skin line already boasts over 25 skins but Riot Games is adding three more champions to it in the upcoming Patch 14.5, which already has a few changes planned. According to the official patch schedule, the patch is set to drop on March 6, 2024.

After the several Lunar New Year skins that have been released over the course of the last two patches, this should be a smaller “filler” patch when it comes to skins. So it’s not surprising to see just three skins being pushed for the next patch.

Which champions are receiving the PROJECT skins?

The three members to join the PROJECT universe are:

PROJECT Gangplank
PROJECT Jax
PROJECT Naafiri

While it’s still unclear how the skins will look in the game, I must say that the splash arts look fantastic, especially the Jax one for me. Naafiri also has some great chromas, while Gangplank is probably the least favorite on my side among the three. There are probably better PROJECT skins out there, but these aren’t the worst either.

These should all be Epic Tier skins, which means that Riot is going to price them at 1350 RP. There are already quite a few legendary skins in the PROJECT universe, and given the amount of new content we received in the last two patches, it was expected to get a few “normal” skins. There shouldn’t be more cosmetic content for the next patch, so it will be a good time to save up some in-game currency for the next big event, which will be coming soon, hopefully.
