We’ve been getting steady teases all week, but that’s been blown out of the water by this latest announcement. There’s a release date for the trailer for the season, where we’ll learn everything about the new content. We’ve even gotten the key art shown off already.

The Key Art for the season shows off quite a few of the major new skins coming to the game. However, there’s also a decent look at the world of Fortnite and some of the new items. It seems flying is going to be a much bigger part of this new season! What have we learned about Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2?

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 – What Do We Know from New Art?

The key art for a season of Fortnite is always a great place to see what it’s all about. We’ve got the seasonal subtitle and a good look at quite a few changes. Perhaps most central though is the new Fortnite skins.

We can clearly see that we’re getting quite a few of the characters that have popped up in Fortnite leaks over the last few weeks. The mythology-themed survey skins like Zeus, a winged god, a multi-headed dog, plus some others.

Chapter 5 Season 2 Weapons

In terms of new weapons, we have a good look at a few new ones There’s a fresh SMG joining the loot pool. Great news considering one of our current SMGs is pretty much useless. There also seems to be a new marksman rifle. This could be replacing the Sniper which has been dominant in the last season’s meta.

The other new weapons shown off in the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 key art is the Mythics. These new Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics seem to be based around the powers of gods in the Battle Pass. There’s Zeus lightning, wings to take to flight, and seemingly some king of chain whip thing! They definitely look like an interesting mix.

New POIs

The next big thing we’ve learned from the new art is POIs. The key art is divided into two spots. There’s a Mount Olympus-style area and an underworld. This lines up with what we’ve learned in leaks too. This should mean we’re getting at least two new POIs this season to spice up the map.

That’s what we’ve learned from the new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 key art. We’re just a short while away from the trailer dropping, and then the new Fortnite season itself hitting!
