Jin Sakai will soon also be playing on his beautiful home island on your home computer. And PC samurai won’t have to wait much longer

For four years, PC gamers had to look enviously at the PlayStation when it came to Ghost of Tsushima . Now that’s over! Because the picture-perfect open-world samurai spectacle is also coming to home computers-san – says Sony quite officially

The first good news: The island tour starts on May 16, 2024!

The second piece of good news: the experts at Nixxes are taking care of the porting, which gives us hope for a good technical condition for the release.

You can see the brand new announcement trailer for the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima right here:

What is Ghost of Tsushima actually about?

You play the samurai Jin Sakai, who is forced to watch as Mongol invaders attack his Japanese home island of Tsushima. In order to save his homeland and its inhabitants, Jin is faced with a difficult decision: Must he stray from the honorable path of the samurai to have a chance at victory?

Ghost of Tushima is a first-class open-world time eater. There’s something to discover everywhere, a Mongol camp here, a fox den there, a hot spring over there and the next main mission is already waiting a little further north.

One of the highlights is the battle system As a samurai, you have to adapt to each opponent individually to avoid biting the dust very quickly. Mongolian spearmen require a completely different style of swordplay than heavily armored but slow axe fighters. So you can change your style at the touch of a button to gain the upper hand in battle.

So Ghost of Tsushima is the next former PlayStation exclusive to land on PC. Are you happy about the announcement? Has Jin Sakai’s adventure always been an experience that made you envious of the Sony console? Or are you now plagued by open-world fatigue? Let us know in the comments!
