StarCraft 2

Those are all of the additions so far. There’s a decent spread of titles here, mainly focusing on shooters and MOBAs. We’re getting some of the longest-standing esports games like Counter-Strike and Dota. However, there are some more modern inclusions such as PUBG Mobile and OW 2. It’s great to see another outing for StarCraft 2 too.

There are a few areas of esports that aren’t represented so far, like fighting games and sports games. Looking at this though, there’s a decent number of games from other genres. It’s enough that we’ll see some impressive games in the genres that are represented.

While announcing the new games, a special trailer was released to promote the Esports World Cup. We got to see some specific worldwide cities that tie into each of the new games. Like Brazil for Free Fire or Toronto for Canada. We might have more titles and features announced over the coming weeks too.
