The Arc World Tour 2023 finals are nearly here, a culmination of an entire year of competitive Guilty Gear Strive. This weekend we’ll finally see the full bracket take place. Everyone attending has won their spot through a whole year’s worth of competition, rising to be the best Guilty Gear players.

These finals bring together the top international players in Guilty Gear Strive. That’s along with some other tournaments for their newer competitive fighting game releases. In a single weekend of events, we’ll see a new champion crowned for some of Arc System Works biggest games. What can we expect at the ARC World Tour 2023 Finals?

Arc World Tour 2023 Finals

The Arc World Tour 2023 finals are taking place over the weekend, in Long Beach. It’s a three-day event running March 21-23. We’ll have last-chance qualifiers, but most of the competitors are here from events throughout last year.

This year the World Tour is kind of in flux this year. We’ve got Guilty Gear, but new fighting game releases from Arc came out too late to be a part of the circuit in full. As we have now gotten these games released though, the Finals themselves will offer more than just Guilty Gear. We’ll also see events for Undernight In-Birth II [Sys:Celes] and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising. However, it’ll definitely be Guilty Gear Strive that’s the main event.

Guilty Gear Strive at AWT

The bulk of the ARC World Tour this year is going to be Guilty Gear Strive. The event will begin in a group stage. Four groups of those qualified will compete in matches against each other. The top player from each group goes through to the bracket, the runner-up goes to the losers’ bracket, and the bottom two end their journeys here.

All of the players at the ARC World Tour Finals 2023 have come from the year’s events, with most coming from qualifiers. Three more are coming from the leaderboard and two from the LCQ. These are the groups we’ll see at the start of the Arc World Tour Finals 2024 for Guilty Gear Strive.
