In continuation of their already well-established domestic tournament circuit, UK and Ireland Circuit have just announced a new semi-LAN event which will be taking place online and at Endpoint’s HQ in December.

Twelve teams are scheduled to participate in the competition. The tournament will have two groups consisting of four teams. While four teams will receive direct invitations to the group stage, the remaining four teams will be chosen through open qualifiers. In the quarterfinals, four invited teams will await the teams that advanced from the group stage.

After the group stage and quarterfinals, the competition will switch to a LAN format, with the matches taking place at Endpoint’s headquarters in Sheffield. Accommodation will be entirely paid for, and a fixed budget will be provided for travel expenses as well.

A £4,000 prize pool has been guaranteed by the tournament’s organizers, and further funds will be raised through the means of crowdfunding, with all proceeds after fees going to the prize pool.

The organizers will be releasing more information soon. Before then, UKIC’s first CeX Invitational for 2023 takes place at the weekend, featuring Arctic Raptors, Into the Bin and six teams from the Closed Qualifier.
