During the PlayStation Showcase, Konami had announced the long suspected remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. With the fresh look, the action game is also getting a new name.
Although the announcement did not come as a complete surprise to many fans, the news still caused great joy. Under the name Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Konami announced a remake of the third part of Hideo Kojima’s action series.
Fans can expect not only modern graphics, but also a sophisticated storyline and new features in combat survival as they fight their way through impenetrable regions. Konami does not completely forgo originals, however. For example, the original voice cast will be returning to their roles.
Konami is bridging the wait until the currently unannounced release date with METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1, a remaster collection consisting of the first three parts of the series. Konami wants to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the franchise with this collection. However, it is not yet clear when exactly this will be released.
To stay up to date, you can follow the franchise on Twitter or Facebook. Of course, we will also inform you about updates.
