Things are heating up for King of Fighters at the moment with a demo for the next game in the series, a remake, coming soon. However, there’s still plenty of life left in King of Fighters XV, 1.93 is the latest update to hit the game and freshen things up. Even with a major upcoming fighting game, it’s nice to see the main instalment in the series getting some love.

It isn’t quite a major update adding a new character, like Sylvie Paula Paula. However, the King of Fighters xv 1.93 patch is still making some improvements to the game. These are the changes that have been made to the title.

The major change for these King of Fighters XV patch notes, in terms of balance, has been Goenitz. A number of their moves have been reworked with these changes.

Yonokaze – Damage will no longer vary on hit.
Shin Ya Otome – The attack hitbox has been expanded to make it easier to connect.
Tokoshie no Kaze – Change so damage no longer varies.

These aren’t huge changes, but they do affect a few areas for the character We’ll likely see further changes in the future for more characters though, especially with a new addition to the roster being underway.

King of Fighters XV might not be the newest game, but the title is still one of the best fighting games around at the moment. With Street Fighter 6 grabbing a lot of attention, it might be a great time to jump back into King of Fighters and try to hone your skills. With exploits for players misusing online now fixed, it’s likely going to be a better experience to rejoin the game now.
