In Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (2018), every player has the opportunity to become a glorious gladiator, fighting in an arena and climbing the ranks. They can become a feared warrior, defeating all comers and taking on some impressive fighters in their pursuit of fame and fortune. That’s all well and good, but where is the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and once you’ve found it, how can you defeat it as quickly as possible?
It can be a difficult feat for some players, as the challenge gets tougher the further up the ranks they climb. For the most part, players tend to leave the Arena alone until they’ve completed the main story – or at least until they’ve levelled up quite far and picked up plenty of abilities. If you’re willing to wait, then you should do so, as going into the Arena with a full suite of powers is definitely recommended.
So, where is the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?
How To Defeat the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?
There is a diverse range of top-tier ‘boss-like’ opponents to defeat in Odyssey’s Arena. However, they all have their weaknesses, and if you can exploit them, then you’ll wrap up each fight with razor-sharp efficiency. For example:
Klaudios has a range of poison attacks and smoke bombs, but he’s weak, and a flurry of attacks will dispatch him with ease.
Belos uses a shield, so using the Shield Breaker ability is of paramount importance – once it’s out of the way, strike hard.
Evanthe fights hand-in-hand with creatures, which you’ll want to kill first. Try to use ranged attacks against Evanthe, who wields a flaming spear.
Titos is best fought with ranged attacks a Shield Breaker spree.
Vasilis is the final boss, and he basically commands an army. You’ll need to break his shield and defeat his minions, but try to stay close – if he uses his bow, he’ll deal a lot of damage.
Skoura makes an appearance after all the bosses have been defeated, and he can be taken out using fire and poison attacks.
That’s effectively the way to beat each boss in the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

But Where is the Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey?
On the massive, open-world map, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena can be found in ‘Pephka’ an island in the very South-Eastern corner of the world. There’s a mission that pops up named ‘They Just Want Cruelty’ when certain parameters have been fulfilled, and it’s recommended that you tackle the mission at Level 32 – but anything over Level 20 should be okay.
During this quest line, you’ll meet a man named Maion – he’ll give you the opportunity to sail a small boat up the coast towards the Arena. Once you’ve successfully navigated your way up the island, you’ll be greeted by Skoura – who will eventually be your final opponent in the Arena itself.
There aren’t really any rules to the Arena, and we recommend that you tackle it with whatever playstyle you’ve found most comfortable thus far. There are certain weaknesses for each boss, as we’ve outlined, but if you find that something else works better, then by all means, stick by it.
