Last night Capcom held a showcase for Exoprimal. In it, they went over the game modes, explained the post-launch roadmap and showed the launch trailer.

With Exoprimal, a childhood dream should come true for many gamers. After all, not only do you fight against other players in cool exo-suits, you also face gigantic hordes of dinosaurs! Fans have already been able to find out how much fun this can be in the two beta tests held.
With release now within reach, game director Takuro Hiraoka (during the showcase) talked about more details of the shooter.

The Gameplay Modes

At the heart of Exoprimal is the game mode Dino Survival, in which two teams of 5 compete against each other and try to complete tasks first. Although you will mainly be fighting the primeval lizards, there is also PvP-Content There will also be battles where you have to fight as a large team of 10 against a boss.
In this mode you will follow the story of the game and after completing a round you will be rewarded with XP and in-game currency  to further upgrade your suits.

In addition to the story mode, there is the already familiar (Savage Gauntlet) Capcom is also implementing feedback from the beta with Final Mission Selection  After collecting some XP, you can choose between the three Final Mission Types PvEPvP and Random at any time within this mode. However, only Random will give you an XP bonus.

The Exoprimal Roadmap

The Exoprimal, designed as a live service game, will introduce new Seasons every three months. Along with each new season, a new title update will be provided, which will supply the game with new content. The Survival Pass will also be updated every month.
The first season will already be released on launch day, two weeks later on 28 July the Savage Gauntlet mode will be introduced. Finally, on 16 August the first title update will follow, introducing among other things 10 alpha variants of already known exosuits.

Season 2 is scheduled to be released along with the corresponding title update in mid-October  The update includes the already announced Crossover Event to Street Fighter 6 In addition, a new map and a new final mission will be added, among other things.
This will be followed in January 2024 by the third season of Exoprimal. This will see the introduction of the beta variants of the suits as well as the Neo-Triceratops. A crossover event with Monster Hunter  is to take place during this period.

Exoprimal will be released on 14 July for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Unfortunately, there will be no crossplay at launch, but the developers are said (according to Twitter) already working on a solution. Instead, Windows and Xbox gamers will play in one group, PlayStation gamers in another and Steam gamers all by themselves.
