We are eagerly awaiting the release of Alone in the Dark and naturally ask ourselves how much time we will spend in the creepy game. A recently published interview provides the answer to this question.
Those who played the original Alone in the Dark from 1992 will probably have put between five and eight hours into the horror classic. You can expect a slightly longer playing time in the upcoming reboot.
Andreas Schmiedecker, Associate Producer at THQ Nordic, (confirmed) that you can spend between 6 and 10 hours in the game. However, since exclusive cutscenes, sequences and locations are planned for both protagonists, the scary game should be played at least once more. For an extensive game experience, therefore, around 20 hours are planned.
Those who want to get a taste of the horror reboot right now can try out the Grace in the Dark demo. This is still playable for free on all available platforms.
Alone in the Dark will be released on October 25 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The reboot picks up the story of the original, in which the two protagonists Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood investigate the suicide of painter Jeremy Hardwood.
