You’re spoilt for choice – especially when it comes to sniper rifles in Call of Duty. We show you which five are particularly worthwhile after the Season 4 Reloaded Update.

When it comes to taking out enemies from a distance, there’s probably no better choice than a sniper rifle. We’ve taken a look at all the snipers and tell you which five you should save a spot for in your loadout in Season 4 Reloaded.

One Shot, one Kill

After the developers decided to introduce one-shot sniper rifles to Warzone 2 in Season 3, a lot has happened in the sniper meta.

While the precision weapons were shunned by large parts of the community before Season 3, they now have a permanent place in the Warzone 2 meta.

We are adding One-Hit-Down Snipers to create added variety in combat playstyles. Bolt-action snipers equipped with Explosive Ammunition will be able to down enemies with one skill shot. More intel https://t.co/EAsNMkNUbq

Although only certain sniper rifles have the potential to send opponents into the dust with just one hit, the “weaker” sniper weapons are also worth a look and can score points especially on Al Mazrah with its long combat distances.

5 SP-X 80

The SP-X 80 is a true all-rounder, even if it lacks some penetrating power. It causes the second lowest damage among the sniper rifles, but can boast good mobility and handling.

The attachments we have selected provide improved accuracy, range and handling, and make the SP-X 80 the perfect choice for medium range due to its high rate of fire.

This is how you should play the SP-X 80:

Run: 22″ Cavalry Run (⇑+0.00, ⇒+0.40)

Laser: FSS OLE-V-Laser (⇓-0.35, ⇒+19.40)

Shaft: PVZ-890 tactical shaft (⇓-1.55, ⇒+1.16)

Bolt: FSS ST87-Bolt

Ammunition: .300 High Velocity (⇑+0.70, ⇒+9.00)

4 Victus XMR

Unlike all other sniper rifles, the Victus XMR was not available in the game from the beginning, but was only introduced with Season 1 in MW2 and Warzone 2 respectively.

The weapon has the highest base damage and the best range of all sniper rifles and can, in combination with explosive ammunition, take out enemies with just one shot.

This is how you should play the Victus XMR:

Run: Mack 8 33.5 Super (⇓-0.15, ⇒+0.40)

Laser: VLK LZR 7 mW (⇓-0.19, ⇒+51.00)

Shaft: XRK Rise 50 (⇓-1.30, ⇒+2.40)

Grip: Bruen Q900 grip (⇓-0.29, ⇒+0.20)

Ammunition: .50 calibre Explosive (⇑+0.70, ⇒+9.00)

3 FJX Empire

Alongside the Victus XMR, the FJX Imperium, probably better known to CoD veterans by its real name CheyTac M200 Intervention, is one of two sniper rifles subsequently introduced in Warzone 2.

This is how you should play the FJX Imperium:

Mouth: Nilsound 90 (⇓-1.00, ⇐-1.00)

Laser: VLK LZR 7mW (⇑+0.20, ⇒+51.00)

Shank: RIB400 (⇓-0.77, ⇒+2.40)

Handle: Skull-40 (⇓-0.35, ⇒+0.45)

Ammunition: .408 Explosive (⇑+0.70, ⇒+9.00)

2 MCPR-300

Despite its relatively small calibre, the MCPR-300 is one of the best sniper rifles in Warzone 2 and has only become more powerful with the buff of the explosive ammunition.

Even in Season 4 Reloaded, it is still an excellent choice thanks to its good mobility, recoil control and handling and should definitely be worth considering.

This is how you should play the MCPR-300:

Mouth: Nilsound 90 (⇓-1.00, ⇐-1.00)

Run: 22″ OMX-456 (⇓-0.20, ⇒+0.40)

Laser: VLK LZR 7mW (⇑+0.20, ⇒+51.00)

Magazine: 5-shot magazine

Munition: .300 magazine Explosive (⇑+0.70, ⇒+9.00)

1 Signal 50

The Signal 50 is the only automatic sniper rifle in Warzone 2 and offers the second highest range in addition to immense damage at almost any distance. Even after various nerfs in Season 2, the chunky sniper rifle is still the best choice when it comes to ranged weapons.

Thanks to its explosive ammunition, it too has the potential to send enemies to the gulag with just one hit.

This is how you should play the Signal 50:

Mouth: Nilsound 90 (⇓-1.00, ⇐-1.00)

Run: 29″ TV Kilo-50 (⇓-0.20, ⇒+0.40)

Laser: FSS OLE-V-Laser (⇑+0.20, ⇒+51.00)

Shaft: FSS Echo-Shaft (⇓-1.55, ⇒+2.40)

Ammunition: .50 calibre Explosive (⇑+0.70, ⇒+9.00)
