Geras Joins Mortal Kombat 1 Roster

Ahead of the release of Mortal Kombat 1, we’ve already found out loads about the characters. It’s one of the areas that NetherRealm have been constantly teasing. Between the roster of original characters making the base roster and the more recent announcement about MK 1 DLC we’ve already learnt a lot. This weekend we got yet another character confirmed for Mortal Kombat 1 though. We now know that Geras in Mortal Kombat 1 is going to make it in too. He’s yet another returning character that dedicated fans will be happy to see.

Geras in Mortal Kombat 1 is making a return as part of the roster. He’ll be joining the game alongside most of the other most recognisable faces in the franchise. The game has some exciting DLC characters, but there are still interesting picks coming for the base roster in Mortal Kombat 1. With returning characters like Geras there will still be plenty of surprises in the character list.

Geras Returning in Mortal Kombat 1

Geras is a Mortal Kombat character with powers to manipulate the flow of time! He first appeared in Mortal Kombat 11, as a newcomer to the series. He has unique time-based powers which make for an interesting moveset.

Coming back in Mortal Kombat 1 is a nice return for the character. While the DLC roster of the game has a lot of crossover characters, there’s room for more returning picks in the base roster. It’s great to see newer faces from Mortal Kombat sticking around too.

Along with Geras in Mortal Kombat 1, the new trailer has shown a few other interesting additions to the game. There are some new looks at characters like Liu Kang along with the Lin Kuei Kameo Fighter. These trailers are a great way of getting a closer look at some of what the game has to offer, so far it has been lining up with Mortal Kombat 1 leaks pretty closely.
