If you’re looking for a more dedicated pet class in Remnant 2, then the Summoner is your answer.

Initially, players can choose from five classes (Archetypes): Medic, Challenger, Gunslinger, Hunter, and Handler. However, as you progress through the game, you will be allowed to unlock special classes, including the Summoner.

These special classes also include the Explorer, Invader, Alchemist, and Engineer variants. You need to perform special tasks related to each class to unlock them. Each class has its perks, triage, armor, skills, and weapons. Through this comprehensive guide, we look at how to unlock the Summoner build.

Find the Blood Moon

When you enter the World of Yaesha, your first step will be to find the Blood Moon Altar. However, it is difficult to predetermine the exact location of the Blood Moon since the game map is generated procedurally. But you will come across a blue mark as you explore the World of Yaesha, indicating the position of the Blood Moon Altar.

Purchase the Faded Grimoire

After you complete the first step, the next move will be to purchase the Faded Grimoire. You need an in-game currency called the Blood Moon Essence to purchase it. In order to purchase this currency, you must travel to Yaesha during the Blood Moon, where you will find materials called Root Wisp floating around.

Faded Grimmoire

You will receive the currency after acquiring these jellyfish-like materials. However, please bear in mind that the Blood Moon is an extremely rare currency throughout the game. It is important to use it efficiently, as killing one of the floating materials gives you only one Blood Moon Essence in return. In case you enter Yaesha, and it is not in the Blood Moon state, then you must return later without wasting any time in the hunt.

Additionally, you will also need Luminite Crystals and Scrap to purchase the Faded Grimoire. The Luminite Crystals can be easily collected from the chests throughout Yaesha, while you can obtain Scrap by looting chests and defeating enemies in Yaesha. Please note that you need 15x Blood Moon Essence, 5x Luminite Crystals, and 1500 Scrap to acquire the Faded Grimoire.

Craft the Tome of The Bringer

After acquiring the Faded Grimoire, the final step will be to craft the Tome of the Bringer. In order to do so, you will have to return to Ward 13 and head to Wallace. At Wallace, you will need another 10x Luminite Crystals, Scrape, and the Faded Grimoire. To craft the Tome of the Bringer, an Engram will give you entry to the hidden Summoner class.

Benefits and Stats of the Summoner Class

The Summoner Class specializes in using minions available in-scene to fight against enemies. Interestingly, the minions that are summoned by this class are also enemies. So, the Summoner is able to make enemies fight for you.

The major perks that you’ll enjoy in this class include the Ruthless Prime Perk, Residue Team Perk, Incite Relic Perk, Outrage Utility Perk, and Dominator Damage Perk.
