Fortnite’s latest collab has been unveiled just a few days after it surfaced in leaks! We now know what the next collab is going to be in-game: Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s another Fortnite anime franchise that’s bringing some new skins into the game. While not everything is confirmed yet, Epic has given us a good idea of what to expect and when it’s going to come to the game.
Like most Fortnite collabs, the main event is the new item shop content. It’ll bring some of the main characters from the popular anime and manga franchise into the world of Fortnite with cel-shaded skins.
If you’re a fan of the franchise, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got some V-Bucks to hand! It looks like fans are getting four different skins. Even in bundles, that could run you quite a few Battle Passes worth of currency. These might be some of the best Fortnite skins we’ve seen so far though. Epic has been improving their anime filter every time it’s used. This is what we know about the Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen crossover.
Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen
It seems the leaks were right, and Epic has confirmed four new skins along with other cosmetics.
Epic has posted a full trailer for the Jujutsu Kaisen so you can see exactly what is to come. They haven’t specified which items are included but the trailer basically shows off the same content that has already been leaked. All four skins and other items are being released at once, rather than multiple waves like other Fortnite anime collabs.
Specifically, it looks like Gojo, Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara have all been added to the game! These haven’t been confirmed beyond the initial trailer, but they match the in-game leaks already seen. If things continue to line up with the leaks, we can expect pickaxes, back blings, and even alternative styles for some characters!
The big unknown for Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen at the moment is if we’re getting in-game items. Recent Fortnite anime collabs have seen big items get added to the game itself, like the Attack on Titan weapons and mobility of Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha. What about Jujutsu Kaisen? There are plenty of things from that franchise that would make a fun inclusion in Fortnite. Although Fortnite X Naruto (which originated the anime crossovers) didn’t come with any in-game content. Every anime collab since has, but it’s possible all we’re getting is the skins.
Release Date
There are already a number of active Fortnite collabs going on right now, so when’s the Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen release date? We’ve actually had full confirmation from Epic that they’ll be introduced with the Fortnite V25.30 patch notes! We can expect that in the next update, so fans don’t have long to wait to see the new Fortnite X Jujutsu Kaisen content.
