The Chinese version of Valorant Mobile, known as Project C, has reportedly commenced its closed beta testing. This development comes after the recent launch of Valorant in China and follows rumors and subsequent confirmation of Project C’s existence in 2021.

Project C, the codename for Valorant Mobile’s Chinese version, has started its closed beta testing. The registration for Project C is open from August 4th to mid-August, exclusively for Android users.

How to Participate in Project C’s Closed Beta?

To participate in Project C’s closed beta, Valorant players need to meet three requirements: a WeChat account, a QQ account, and a registered Chinese phone number. Eligible participants can register on the Tencent Pioneer app, where they will need to answer 22 questions.

Currently, Valorant has two PC versions: a global version and a China-specific version. A similar pattern is expected for Valorant Mobile. While players outside China may have to wait for the global rollout of Valorant Mobile, the delay seems fair given that Valorant’s PC version was released in China after more than two years.

However, the anticipation among players to access the beta using VPNs and other means might expedite the global release. As of now, the global release date for Valorant Mobile remains unknown. The mobile version of this popular, vibrant shooter is still in development, having been announced in 2021 and entered testing in 2022.
