For lovers of the special martial arts game Sifu by Sloclap there is both happy and wistful news. The developer studio has announced that next September will see the release of the final content update. This update marks the completion of Sifu’s development journey and will add new content to the gameplay experience. Since its launch in February 2022, Sifu has gained a loyal fan base that is thrilled with the game’s intense combat mechanics. Originally available for PlayStation consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store the game also reached Xbox and Steam players in March 2023.

Sloclap, the studio behind Sifu has continuously released updates and improvements to optimize the gameplay experience and introduce new content. Despite its success and ongoing support, the upcoming update will be the last, meaning the game has reached its final form.

The final update will expand the already existing Arena mode and introduce six new arenas. It will feature new enemies, 75 additional challenges, modifiers and cheats to add variety to the gameplay. Also, costumes inspired by movies will be added to customize the character more individually. This update will give fans the chance to enjoy the game to the fullest one last time before it reaches its conclusion. However, it can be strongly assumed that Sifu will make its way to various sales in the coming years, and certainly to the PlaystationPlus catalog at some point.
