With the two parallel worlds of Lords of the Fallen, the concept of multiple endings is just so pressing. So if you haven’t had enough after the one-off ordeal through Axiom and Umbral, you can throw yourself into the adventure two more times. Because the Souls-like game offers you three different endings. Through the New Game+ you can at least start the new runs stronger.

But how long does it actually take you to complete a playthrough of Lords of the Fallen? As the developers reveal in an interview with MP1ST, you will need around 30 hours for the first playthrough  Of that time, about one and a half hours will be spent on the Tutorial Region and then the following  sessions. The subsequent replays will of course be a lot shorter. HexWorks estimates that they will take around 25 hours

By the way,

Yesterday IGN released a (Deep Dive) of Lords of the Fallen. This introduces you to the most important gameplay features in relation to the parallel dimensions.

To travel from Axiom, the realm of the living, to Umbral, you use your Umbral Lantern This is given to you at the beginning of the game. However, if you want to return to Axiom, you will need a Flower Field, the HexWorks answer to beacons. These are pretty scarce, though, so you should keep your eyes open.

The Umbral Lantern has many more features, however. For example, you can use it as a window to Umbral to find new paths in environmental puzzles. You can also use it to manipulate the souls of your enemies and inflict more damage. We already learned some about this in a previous gameplay video&nbsp.

Lords of the Fallen releases on October13 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
