We’re getting closer to the release of the latest game in the Granblue Fantasy Versus series. The fighting game spin-off is getting a sequel soon, and we’ve just learnt about a new different version of the game which is coming. Along with a fully paid edition, we’ll also be getting a GBVS Rising free version too! While this won’t be the full version of the game, it’ll let fans try a lot of the content out. We learnt about the free version a few weeks ago, but we now know exactly what’s coming in this version of the game.
The new GBVS Rising free version will be out alongside the normal GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising release date. It has a different spread of content which should be enough to tempt players into trying the series out. What’s actually coming in this free version of the game though?
GBVS Rising Free Version Releasing
Alongside the mainline version of the game, there’s going to be a free version which is launching too. This has been announced alongside the pre-orders for the title. It’ll include more limited content which works to give players a taste of the series. There will be four different playable characters in this version. That’s enough to let players try out some of the different archetypes and start working on getting better at fighting games here.
Alongside four characters, you’ll be able to pay through the first arc of the story. There will also be offline and even online battles. While the features are a bit more limited, this GBVS Rising free version will be a decent chunk of the game.
This latest development about a free version of the game seems geared to expanding the series’ audience. Just like the new modern controls in FBVS Rising, this new version opens things up. Newer players will be able to try the game out, and won’t even need to spend time mastering the more complicated inputs.
These new features will definitely make GBVS Rising a more accessible game. More players will be able to try out this new instalment in one of the best fighting game series. Hopefully, it can capture a big audience like some of this year’s other releases.
