The new season of football has begun in all leagues around the world. As such it is only a matter of time now for the new EA FC 2024 game to launch soon. With new talent being discovered on a weekly basis by fans around the world, one might wonder if the best players from last year are still on top.

10. Alisson – Liverpool (GK)

The first player on our list is Alisson, the Brazilian goalkeeper from Liverpool. Last season he averaged over 2.9 saves a game while preventing over 8 goals last season. The interesting part about him is that he was the only goalkeeper last season in the English Premier League to have an assist under his name.

9. Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool (CB)

The next player on our list is Virgil van Dijk from Liverpool. The defender who was once the best player in the world didn’t have the best form last season. Last season he won 4.1 duels every game, having a success rate of over 70%. Having kept a clean sheet in 11 games out of the 32 he played last season.

8. Mohamed Salah – Liverpool ( RW)

Another player from Liverpool who makes the list, it’s the Egyptian Magician himself Mohamed Salah. Last season having scored 19 goals and provide 12 assists, he outperformed his expected goals and assists. Time will tell if his season he is able to keep up this run of form.

7. Karim Benzema – Al-Ittihad (ST)

The next player on our list is the current Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema. This year he made his big-money move away from Real Madrid to Al-Ittihad. Having scored 19 goals last season, he proved his mark to be one of the best strikers in football of all time.

6. Lionel Messi – Inter Miami CF (RW)

Considered in the eyes of many the best player to ever touch a football, it is Lionel Messi. Many don’t realize that last season he had 16 goals and 16 assists in Ligue 1 for Paris Saint-German. Having already scored 9 goals for Inter Miami and winning the Leagues Cup, many wonder what can’t Lionel Messi do after winning the World Cup last year.

5. Robert Lewandowski – Barcelona (ST)

The current winner of the Gerd Müller Trophy, the striker from Barcelona Robert Lewandowski starts off our top 5 of this list. Being on an amazing run of form since his signing last season the player scored 23 goals and provided 7 assists helping Barcelona win the La Liga last season.

4. Harry Kane FC – Bayern München (ST)

The second-highest goal scorer last season in the English Premier League Harry Kane is the next player on our list. The English Captain made his big-money transfer to Bayern München this season. Last season Harry Kane scored 30 goals in a team that finished 8th in the league.

3. Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City (CAM)

Starting our top 3 in this list is Kevin De Bruyne, one of the best attacking midfielders of all time. Last season for Manchester City he provided 16 assists in the league, helping his team win the prestigious treble last season. Many have come and gone but Kevin has stayed on the top of his game the last few seasons.

2. Erling Haaland – Manchester City (ST)

Predicting the top 2 players for this list is quite a toss-up because both are the best young talent in the sport right now.

The cover star of EA FC 24, Erling Haaland makes it to the second spot on the list.

Having won the treble last season and breaking numerous records last season, Erling Haaland might have had the best rookie season of any player in the Premier League. The player ended last season with 36 goals last season. By doing so breaking the all-time record for goals scored in a season in the Premier League.
