Chess is a highly strategic game where one incorrect move could decide your fate in a match. While Clash of Clans and Clash Royale have much more amusing graphics, the same thing can happen in these two games as well. Now, a perfect union between Clash of Clans plus Clash Royale and Chess is taking place.

Chess.com announced in a press release that it’s hosting the Chess Clash on Sept. 7 featuring top creators and personalities from Chess and the Clash games for a showdown. The event will see both games take center stage as the creators fight for victory. Additionally, it will feature a charity prize pool of $50,000. Players can contribute further to the charity amount.

“As a huge fan of both games and a decent player of one of them (I won’t say which), I couldn’t be more excited for Chess and Clash to come together!” said Chess.com’s Chief Chess Officer, Danny Rensch.

Each challenge will grant coins which can be used by the clans to aid them in the Finale. In the Clash universe, the two clans will compete in different game modes inside Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. For Chess, they will battle in Hand and Brain, Puzzle Rush, and Spell Chess modes.

All creators will be live streaming the event on their YouTube or Twitch handles. The Chess Clash will begin at 2 PM ET on Sept. 7. Chess.com has collaborated with Supercell to host the event.
