ASRock and PowerColor provide new clues at Gamescom that AMD’s Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT will be unveiled on Friday
For several weeks now, information about the still unreleased mid-range graphics cards Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT from AMD has been leaking out again and again. For example, PowerColor accidentally published a large part of the hardware specifications of the RX 7800 XT on its website at the beginning of August
At gamescom 2023, hardware manufacturers ASRock and again PowerColor are providing further hints about the upcoming release of AMD’s still missing mid-range graphics cards. The AMD Gaming Festival 2023 is also scheduled for Friday, August 25, where AMD says it will make a special announcement

The X (formerly Twitter) user Club386 recently posted a photo from ASRock’s gamescom booth showing three graphics card placeholders labeled AMD RDNA 3 – August 26 . RDNA 3 is the microarchitecture on which AMD’s current RX-7000 graphics cards are based.

PowerColor teases graphics card backside
At the start of gamescom 2023, graphics card manufacturer PowerColor has teased the back of a graphics card from its in-house Hellhound series. Apart from the well-known logo of the graphics card series on the back, the heat sink, an LED switch and the iconic purple RGB fans, however, not much is visible in the image.

Probable hardware specs of the RX 7700 XT and 7800 XT
According to leaks, the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT will have 12 GB of GDDR6 video memory, which is connected via a 192-bit memory bus. This means that the RX 7700 XT is equipped like an RX 6700 XT in terms of memory.
According to rumours, the RX 7800 XT will have 60 computing units, which corresponds to the Navi32 full expansion stage. The graphics card is said to have 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, which works with a 256-bit memory bus. This would make the RX 7800 XT very similar to the RX 7900 GRE (Gold Rabbit Edition)
What do you think? Are you eagerly waiting for the Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT from AMD? Will you be getting one of these graphics cards? Are you still waiting for another model from AMD? Or are you part of Team Green and have a graphics card from Nvidia? As always, we look forward to hearing what you think in the comments!
