Apex Legends Season 18 has been out for a few weeks now. The game’s latest season has reworked Revenant, but also tried to adjust the Ranked mode to fix some of the Season 17 problems. While they’ve come some way to fixing the problem, the new Apex Ranked exploit could provide an even easier path to the highest ranks for a lot of players. This is how it all works.

New Apex Legends Ranked Exploit Discovered

Some Apex Legends players have just discovered a new Ranked exploit which is helping them gain upwards of 100+ LP in each game. This is letting them effortlessly rise up the rankings to get towards the top of the game’s lobbies. Ranking up in Apex is based on earning LP from ranked games. This new ranked exploit helps players gain much more LP than they normally would.

The key factor to pulling it off is collecting healing items. Medkits, syringes, anything that heals. Hey then sit in the storm and heal themselves while taking tick damage. Some players have been propping 30 medkits in the zone to stay alive. They can ensure they get high placement LP without having to take fights or any risk. Basically, it’s a way to take the placement points without engaging with the title.

Heal offs in the storm aren’t too new to Battle Royales. Quite a few Fortnite streamers have managed to win sitting the storm and healing. However, it usually relies on good luck with finding the right items, staying away from other players, and the other high-finishing players not also having the heal items to stay alive in the storm. With this new Apex Legends Ranked exploit though, it’s being used to game the ranked tiers and get higher up in the season.

This new exploit really makes use of Legend abilities and basic kit in the game in a way that developers probably didn’t intend. It’ll be interesting to see if this receives a patch in upcoming Apex Legends news. Or if these heal-offs are technically allowed, if not encouraged.
