Sunset is the name of the tenth VALORANT map. We have all the info and show which are the Best Agents for the map.

Video game developer and publisher Riot Games introduces the VALORANT community to the second act of Episode 7 Evolution, with a brand new map.

For the agents from the VALORANT universe, it’s now off to Los Angeles, California. For Sunset is the name of the urban area and thus the tenth playable map in the Unrated and Ranked modes.

After announcing the update with numerous trailers and teasers, players are able to explore the new map starting today.

What special feature does Sunset have?

Although Riot Games is known for equipping their maps with unique game elements, the developers have decided to keep Sunset comparatively simple.

The map has only one destructible door, as players know it from the map Ascent.

How is Sunset constructed?

Sunset, like most maps, has two positions to place the spike.

The A-side is connected by several corridors leading to the A-area. The B-side, on the other hand, is quickly accessible from both teams as well as through the centre. Control of the centre is therefore an important aspect of winning the round.

Outstanding about the map Sunset are the many corridors as well as corners and edges. Players who like to use shotguns and the narrow spaces for themselves have a clear advantage over the others!

Which agents could be particularly well armed?

The new map stands out for its structure, and so agents who benefit most from the tight spaces will have the most success.

As duelists could especially Phoenix and Raze prove themselves on the new map. The lack of space lends itself perfectly to using Raze’s explosive abilities, and Phoenix, especially with all the corners, can also use his stun grenades to his advantage.

Breach and Skye can also be used to blind the opponent. Both initiators benefit from the comparatively short sight lines. So behind every wall, a surprise flash-bang grenade and death can hide.

The choice of tacticians is not difficult on this map either, both OmenAstra  as well Brimstone are able to easily block corridors and lines of sight with their round-shaped smoke grenades.

Guards, however, are the biggest winners. Almost all guardian-class&nbspagents benefit from narrow corridors and will be able to seal off their gained space to opponents.
