Riot Games has revealed the abilities of the newest LoL champion, Briar. Let’s see what her kit is like and how she will be in Summoners’ Rift.
Briar – LoL Abilities Rundown
Briar is the newest addition to the roster of LoL champions. She is supposedly going to be a jungler but judging from her kit, she might be flexed towards the top lane role as well.
Some of the more particular characteristics of her kit are the lack of health regeneration and the fact that she’s resourceless. She bases her abilities on having a fervent hunger, and the fact that she unleashes her power when she breaks out of her pillory. Below you can see the current tooltips of all the abilities given by game designer Spideraxe. Please bear in mind that numbers are subject to changes.

Abilities
Passive – Crimson Curse
Briar’s attacks and abilities apply a bleed for 5 seconds, stacking up to 9 times. The bleed deals (10 – 50 + 50% bAD) to (30 – 150 + 150% bAD) physical damage based on stacks, and heals Briar for 25% of the pre-mitigation damage.
Briar gains up to 50% increased healing based on her missing HP She has no base health regeneration and her abilities cost 6% current HP to cast.
Briar heals for 100% of the remaining bleed damage when a bleeding enemy dies.
Q – Head Rush
Briar leaps to a target, stunning them for 0.85 seconds, dealing physical damage, and reducing 10% armor for 5 seconds.
Briar will stop prioritizing champions if she casts this ability on a minion or monster during Blood Frenzy.

W – Blood Frenzy/Snack Attack
W1 – Briar leaps and enters a Blood Frenzy, self-taunting to the nearest enemy for 5 seconds, prioritizing champions. While in Blood Frenzy she gains attack speed and movement speed, and her attacks deal physical damage to enemies surrounding her target.
W2 – Briar can recast this ability to empower her next attack. It deals missing HP physical damage and heals Briar for 30% of the damage dealt. The bite deals 20% increased damage to minions and monsters (Max 500 missing health damage)

E – Chilling Scream
Begin charging: Briar removes Blood Frenzy and gathers energy, gaining 35% damage reduction and restoring 10% HP over 1 second.
Release: Briar unleashes a scream that deals up to magic damage based on time charged and slows by 80% for 0.5 seconds. When fully charged, the scream Knocks back enemies, dealing magic damage to those who hit a wall and stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
Damage: 80/115/150/185/220 + 100% bAD + 100% AP
Additional damage: 140/215/290/365/440 + 240% bAD + 240% AP
Heal ratio: 10/11.5/13/14.5/16%
Cost: 6% of current HP
R – Certain Death
Briar kicks her pillory’s hemolith gemstone and flies to the location of the first champion it hits, marking them as her prey. On landing, she deals physical damage to everything nearby and causes enemies who are not her prey to Flee for 1.5 seconds. She then enters an empowered Blood Frenzy and will pursue her prey until death. During this time, she gains armor and magic resist, 10% lifesteal, and additional movement speed.
When the hemolith hits it interrupts channeled abilities. Briar has True Sight of her prey.
