During the recent Brawlhalla Summer Royale, we got confirmation of the next Brawlhalla crossover! Brawlhalla X Tekken will be the next big event for the game. We’re getting Tekken-themed skins and characters that combine two of the biggest fighting games.

Brawlhalla is no stranger to crossovers. The game has featured characters from other franchises as skins in the past, including some gaming icons like Halo. Brawlhalla X Tekken is one of the first bigger fighting game crossovers to hit the game though. While the game has featured Street Fighter in the past, some of the most iconic characters from the Tekken are coming too.

Tekken fighters will be represented in the more cartooney world of Brawlhalla as brand-new skins. These designs are even drawing on more classic instalments from the series. This is what’s coming with the Brawlhalla X Tekken crossover.

Brawlhalla X Tekken Crossover

During the recent fighting game esports event for Brawlhalla, we got a teaser trailer for a new crossover coming to the title. It’s going to be Tekken, with a few characters shown off as skins. This is an earlier teaser rather than the full spectrum of content, but we already know about a few characters showing up. They’re some of the most iconic faces from Tekken.

The Brawlhalla X Tekken crossover is going to feature Devil Jin, Nina Williams, and Yoshimitsu. These will be premium skins for existing characters. They’ll be selectable styles for some of the best Brawlhalla Legends rather than adding new characters with more Tekken-styled combat into the game.

The designs for the characters aren’t drawn from the upcoming Tekken 8. Instead, they use the designs we’ve seen in some of the best Tekken games in the series. Yoshimitsu is pulled directly from Tekken 3 whereas Nina sports a version of her more iconic outfit that’s appeared in multiple games.

The new Brawlhalla X Tekken crossover follows on from their last major fighter event, Brawlhalla X Street Fighter. That crossover saw 8 different skins put into the title. If Tekken is on a similar scale, then we could expect even more of the most exciting Tekken characters to show up.

Tekken Release Date

This teaser for Brawlhalla X Tekken debuted during the big Summer closing esports tournament, but we won’t have to wait long for full confirmation. We’ll get the full release coming on September 6th! In just a few day’s time, we’ll know exactly what’s coming with this new event and how much Tekken content we’re getting in the game.
