CoD Warzone and MW2 start into the last season before Modern Warfare 3 arrives. And many fans think: This Battle Pass is the best one yet.
New weapons and maps are common in a new CoD season. But Lilith from Diablo 4 as an operator? Wild Halloween skins with the gloomy superhero Spawn? And zombies to boot? It’s been clear for a long time that Season 6 will be different!
Now the Battle Pass has been officially revealed – and many players are excited
The CoD fan site CharlieIntel even writes Season 6 has “probably the best Battle Pass ever in MW2” – and reaps plenty of encouragement in the comments.

For example, streamer HunterTV comments, “First Battle Pass that isn’t just mediocre,” and another user agrees, “It’s the best [Battle Pass] I’ve seen yet […] and full of stuff I’ll use in the future.” That’s because for the first time in CoD history weapons, operators and skins will carry over into the sequel.
So unlocked content from Season 6’s Battle Pass will also be available in Modern Warfare 3 which releases on November 10. This should of course make the grind to the big final spurt much more attractive for many than in previous years.
When do we start?
Season 6 starts on Wednesday, the 27th of September at 6pm German time. That’s when the Battle Pass changes and the new content will be available.
On October 17, the Halloween event “The Haunting” will also start with additional content and a zombie mode.
What’s in the Battle Pass?
Three new weapons (TR-76 Geist, ISO 9mm, Dual Kamas)
Spawn operator with Al Simmons as starting skin
Four additional spawn skins (plus BlackCell variant)
Five villains from the Spawn universe as skins
Up to 1,400 CoD Points when reaching level 100
Weapon blueprints and skin variants
Miscellaneous emblems and badges
In addition to the 100 levels in the regular Battle Pass, there is again a BlackCell version with ten additional skins, an animated weapon, 1,100 CoD Points and other goodies. Cost: 30 euros. Four new multiplayer maps will be released free of charge at the start of Season 6. The mid-season update will follow in mid-October with another new weapon and Halloween game modes in multiplayer and Warzone 2. What do you think about the final Battle Pass of MW2? Does the prospect of being able to take all the content with you into the sequel provide more motivation or are you done with MW2 despite the new season? Write us in the comments.
