The DreamHack series of events have always been huge for quite a few games, lately though they’ve become massive events in the world of fighting games. DreamHack Fighters Atlanta is a great example of this, a huge tournament with entries for tons of the biggest fighting games. As Fighters has expanded recently, we’re getting more events for the biggest games and a greater scope of fighters showing up at DreamHack.
DreamHack Fighters Atlanta will be making a return this December. What can we expect at the new tournament in the series?

DreamHack Fighters Atalnta will be returning with the next instalment in the tournament series. Taking place over December 15-17th, we’ll see tons of the biggest fighting games getting played at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The event will likely be one of our final tournaments in 2023 for the majority of games being played.
A fighting game event is only really as big as its featured games. DreamHack Fighters Atlanta tries to represent a decent spread of titles from across different worlds of fighters. There are definitely some interesting picks on the roster this year.

GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising – $1,500
It’s a fun line up. We’ve got some of the newest fighting games like MK 1 and SF 6, but also the soon-to-be-released GranBlue Fantasy Versus Rising. With Melee on the roster though there are still some classic fighters showing up here too.
As we get closer to the tournament, we’ll see more details come out like which players are attending to take part in this tournament. These will be great closer events for 2023’s esports for quite a few of these games.
