It looks like Disney and Lucasfilm will indeed extend Ahsoka for a second season. We’ll tell you what it’s all about

Don’t worry: To find out how the story of Ashoka Tano continues, you don’t have to wait for Dave Filoni’s big Star Wars movie. Because by all accounts, the TV series about Rosario Dawson’s (ex-)Jedi has indeed been renewed for a second season.

Ahsoka: Season 2 is really coming

This is not officially confirmed at the moment, but the good news comes from an extremely credible source: The reliable insider (MyTimeToShineHello), who currently shines with his expertise in Disney productions, wants to have heard about the Ahsoka extension.

But this wouldn’t really be surprising anyway, there have been hints of a second Ahsoka season before. For example, Lucasfilm itself first referred to the eighth episode as the series finale and then later as the season finale. Meanwhile, lead actress Rosario Dawson is on fire to continue her adventure on Disney Plus!

Of course, fans should still wait for official confirmation from Lucasfilm. It’s likely to be a while before season 2 of Ahsoka lands anyway. The Hollywood writers strike is likely to have slowed down potential work on new scripts, while the SAG-AFTRA strike continues.

What’s next for Star Wars

Can we predict a release? That’s why it’s hard to say at this point when Season 2 of Ahsoka might launch on Disney Plus. We can probably safely expect a return of characters like Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen).

What else is happening with Star Wars: Meanwhile, more Star Wars series such as The Acolyte, Andor: Season 2 and Skeleton Crew are also coming our way. Rumor has it that The Mandalorian may also not continue in the form of a fourth season, but as a movie

Speaking of a new Star Wars movie: Dave Filoni plans to have his TV series on Disney Plus culminate in a major motion picture finale. Here, at the latest, Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and co. are to be linked together.

How well have you enjoyed the Ahsoka series so far and are you pleased that a season 2 has reportedly been confirmed? Overall, how satisfied are you with the current Star Wars movies and TV series?
