All Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythic Locations

The new Season of Fortnite is huge, with more coming than in maybe any update before. One of the biggest overhauls has been the Fortnite weapons, now completely customizable with a complex system of mods. However, it’s not all change. If you’re after the best weapons then the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics are some of the best places to start.

The latest Fortnite patch notes introduced customisable weapon mods but one-of-a-kind Mythic rarity weapons have made a return too. Originally introduced in Chapter 2, these are unique guns which you can only get in one place. So far in Chapter 5 Season 1, these have been souped-up versions of the best guns in the loot pool. They’re like a Gold version of a gun but with a designed loadout of mods pre-applied and better stats than you get from recreating the gun yourself. They’re definitely a notch above everything else.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythic Locations

Fortnite Chapter 5 has a few changes from previous seasons. C4 S4 saw tons of unique weapons as Mythics and OG’s weapons had none. This season we’re back to a more manageable format though, the Fortnite C5 Mythics are limited to ones already in the loot pool. These are better versions of the top guns already in the game. They have better stats than any version available as loot. However, they are just improved standard guns. The Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics are completely unique guns.

That’s all of the Mythic items this season so far. Out of these, there are some stand outs. Peter’s shotgun is one of the best weapons in the game. However, his placement on the map means it’s difficult to get before the faster storm gets on your back. The Striker AR is also impressive, but its mod loadout might not be ideal for some.

One quirk of the Fortnite C5 Mythics is that they have in-built mods. They have each slot occupied and you can’t change them up. If you prefer a different scope, then that mythic might not be for you.

What are the Fortnite C5 Mythic Weapons?

This season the Fortnite C5 Mythics are a bit more restrained. At launch, they’re just slightly powerful versions of the base loot. While they do have a stat advantage, their mods often aren’t quite on point. This could mean players with a decent rarity gun end up with a better version by choosing better mods. It’s a nice way to do the mythics, and most don’t come out feeling too overpowered.

Are the Mythics in Tournaments?

Are the Fortnite Chapter 5 Mythics going to be in tournaments? So far, they’re included in the loot pool for Fortnite esports. These one-of-a-kind weapons will likely be active in all of the upcoming tournaments. Although, they have removed cars and clingers from tournament builds. If these (or the medallions) turn out to be too powerful, Epic might remove them from tournaments before we get to big tournaments like the FNCS.
